Bargain Box
The JLG’s Longest Ongoing Fundraiser
The Bargain Box is the Junior League of Greensboro’s longest ongoing fundraiser, continuously operating since 1947. Raising funds by selling previously-owned merchandise donated by League members and the community, all proceeds benefit the League’s charitable mission. Active League members complete a minimum of three shifts at the Bargain Box each year. In addition to serving the community as a thrift shop, the Bargain Box has partnered with the Women’s Resource Center for over 20 years. On average each year, the JLG distributes over $50,000 worth of Bargain Box vouchers to women affiliated with the WRC in the Greensboro community.
Total WRC Voucher Contribution for 2025-2026: $85,911.00
