Impact

By donating to the Love the League Fund  members and non-members can support the Junior League of Greensboro through a charitable contribution. From unexpected expenses to forward-thinking investments, donating to the Love the League Fund  assists our League in sustaining and advancing its mission as an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, to developing the potential of women, and to improving our community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Annual fundraising is one way we train civic leaders and effect community change. While we study the needs of Greensboro and anticipate our role in transforming the community, we continue to raise money to ensure vital funding is available to fulfill our mission for years to come.

For the 2026-2027 League year, the League is supporting (through funds and volunteers): PDY&F Community Garden, A Simple Gesture, Family Room of the Triad, Kids in the Kitchen, The Women’s Resource Center and other needs that may arise in the Greensboro community. We are also continuing our newest initiative GreensboroEATS to raise awareness and support on the issue of food insecurity in our community. Throughout our many years, we have been integral in founding many impactful projects and organizations including the Greensboro Children’s Museum, Greensboro Science Center, and Greensboro History Museum. These endeavors were made possible in part by your donations. 

Since 1928, the JLG has contributed $3.5 million to the Greensboro community and has provided countless women with the opportunity to develop and hone their leadership skills. Your donation will support this continued mission.

While no specific amount is required, we hope you consider what you are able to contribute above and beyond your annual dues. Regardless of the amount you choose to give, know that your gift is meaningful and appreciated. All gifts are tax-deductible and may be designated in honor or memory of someone special. Employer Matching

Don’t forget about employer matching! Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. To find out if your employer has a matching gift policy, please check with a company representative. If your employer is eligible, request a matching gift form your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to JLG may be doubled or possibly tripled!

Love the League Day

In support of our Love the League Fund, JLG will hold its annual day of giving in February 2027. Love the League Day is an annual giving campaign that supports the Love the League Fund and the League’s ability to create lasting community impact. Stay tuned for more information on how to connect with us as we celebrate our love for the League and our long-standing history in the Greensboro community.

1928 Society

We invite all donors who give an annual gift of $1,000.00 or more to become an inaugural member of our new 1928 Society. Donors will be acknowledged in the League’s annual magazine EverGreene, weekly email newsletter Monday Minute, JLG website, at the monthly membership meetings, and at the Junior League Headquarters on the Giving Wall.
