Touch-A-Truck
For 15 years, the Junior League of Greensboro hosted Touch-A-Truck, an exciting family-friendly festival that featured interactive, hands-on learning experiences for children of all ages. Dozens of exciting vehicles came together each year to transform a traditional parking lot into a place of exploration and discovery for children of all ages. Even though JLG’s fall event shifted to Play with Purpose in 2026, Touch-A-Truck remains a memorable part of our League’s impact.
Impact
The Junior League of Greensboro is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community. We organized the Touch-A- Truck event for the community to enjoy as well as to support JLG’s mission of advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Proceeds from the event supported our mission and our community programs. In our 15th year, in addition to welcoming 39 vehicles and 42 interactive activities and vendors, we raised an incredible $46,070.22 to support our mission and partners! Thank you to everyone who participated in and supported Touch-A-Truck over the years.
