What Our Members Have to Say

Chyrée, Member Since 2023
“After many years of my aunt asking me to join the Junior League of Greensboro, I decided to attend a meet and greet event and was surprised at how welcomed I felt and was impressed by the women I met. Since joining the League, I’ve met new friends, become more involved in the community, and currently hold a leadership role — that I’m eager to see how it will develop me.”

Isabel, Member Since 2019
“The Junior League of Greensboro has created an environment where growth as a leader and a community member is welcomed and encouraged. In each of my roles with the League, I’ve developed new skills and fine-tuned old ones, gained a better understanding of my strengths (and weaknesses!), and made new friends who inspire me both personally and professionally.”

Tammy, Member Since 2016
“I joined the Junior League of Greensboro to have an identity other than mom and wife. Both of these identities are ones I treasure but just not all of who I am. Serving on different committees and the Board has provided me the opportunity to step into different roles, learning more about the League and meeting new women. I enjoy the volunteer opportunities, supporting the community, and providing opportunities for my daughter to volunteer as well.”

Ashley, Member Since 2018
“After working in Greensboro for several years, I wanted to give back to the community. Through a work colleague, I learned of the Junior League of Greensboro’s passion and efforts to assist those around us who need a helping hand. Through the League, I have been given the opportunity to make a difference. That positive impact is what continues to drive me to help those that need it the most.”
